I have a Hytera PD368 and am using CPS Version V1.01.02.014.AS8 to program it. I am using a code plug that a ham friend shared with me. I am able program the radio just fine. Everything works and am happy with the radio. However, there are a couple of small issues that I'd like to resolve. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. The issues are:
- The radio serial number in the code plug is for my friend's radio and not mine. It appears that it cannot be edited in the CPS Radio Information Page. Is there a way to get CPS to recognize my radio's serial number?
- I tried to read from the radio using CPS to see if it would capture the serial number for my radio. CPS reads the radio data just fine, and I get a successful read message. However when I push OK in the successful read dialog box, CPS crashes every time. A Windows dialog box comes up with a message that the program has stopped working and Windows is looking for a solution. Tried on both a Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machine with the same result. Does anyone have a work-around for this problem?

Robust and reliable handheld radios that can demonstrate their outstanding performance capability in tough environments too.
With its compact case, degree of protection IP67, outstanding voice quality and support of digital and analogue radio, the PD705/PD705G provides your radio communication with a fresh wind. The handheld radios PD705 and PD705G (variant with GPS) are designed in accordance with the DMR standard.
Thanks to the TDMA process, the PD705/PD705G enables you to configure the available bandwidth with double the number of channels. This has a clear mitigating effect on increasing spectrum scarcity.
Hytera's PD705 and PD705G (variant with GPS) handheld radios offer ease of operation and reliability, which is indispensable in critical situations. The ingeniously devised and intelligent industry antenna design assures comfortable operation and remarkable GPS properties.
The two rotary buttons of the radio transceiver are separated by the antenna. This design prevents incorrect operations.
The PD705/PD705G meets all the requirements of the open ETSI standard DMR as well as MIL810-C/D/E/F/G and degree of protection IP67. The device series thus offers excellent features even under harsh operating conditions.
Compared to analog technology and the FDMA process, TDMA enables the battery service life to be increased by about 40% depending on operating conditions.
With the combined application of the narrow band codex and technologies for debugging the PD705/705G ensures an excellent voice quality even in loud environment and in peripheral areas of radio coverage.
Upgradeable software enables the possibility of new features. By altering the firmware-software, other digital and analog operating modes can be enabled, without the need for purchasing a new radio device.
- Optional analog or digital operation
- Versatile voice calls: Individual call, group call, broadcast call, emergency call
- Control of the radio via API
- Different analog dialing methods: HDC1200, DTMF, 2-tone and 5-tone dialing, squelch method, tone-coded CTCSS/CDCSS
- Supplementary services: Radio Check, Remote Monitor, Call Alert, Radio Disable/Enable
- Scanning: of analog voice and signaling, of digital voice and data, – mixed scanning of analog and digital activities
- Automatic cell re-selection (roaming) in IP multi-site systems
- Secure encryption with encryption algorithm ARC4 (40 bit) in accordance with DMRA or with optional algorithms AES128 and AES256 (128 and 256 bit)
- Upgradeable software

Compact Design
The RD622i combines transmitter and receiver components, the voltage supply and the duplexer (optional) in its sleek chassis to provide a complete solution
Analog or Digital
The RD622i repeater can automatically change between digital and analog mode depending on the type of receiver signal, saving both time and money by eliminating the need to configure frequencies and channels manually
Flexible Networking
Connect the RD622i to an IP-based communication network to service multiple locations. The roaming function is used to provide radios in this network with voice and data services across cells (base stations)
Easy Installation
Its well-engineered design makes wall mounting very simple using the optional wall bracket. This makes it flexible to install while improving convenience and discretion in buildings
Fail-safe Communication
Provide a fail-safe radio signal by connecting the repeater to a 12v battery in addition to the normal supply of power. If the AC supply fails, the RD622 automatically switches to battery backup
Functions
Mixed Mode Operation
This feature enables the device to automatically detect and switch between analog and digital modes based on the signal received.
IP Site Connect
Concantenate records in dfsort. Create and control your network using IP (internet protocol) site connect.
Digital Encryption
40 bit Enhanced Encryption as Standard on the latest firmware version, ensuring your transmissions are always secure
Pseudo Trunking
Using pseudo-trunking, a Hytera patented technology, slots can be shared to improve capacity usage with transmissions either direct to handset or to other repeaters.
